      D. Approve resolution providing for the issue of not to exceed $6,350,000 General Obligation School Bonds of Community Unit School District Number 399, Carroll and Whiteside Counties, Illinois, for the purpose of altering and reconstructing school buildings and purchasing and installing equipment therein for fire prevention and safety, energy conservation and school security purposes, providing for the levy of a direct annual tax sufficient to pay the principal and interest on said bonds and authorizing the sale of said bonds to the purchaser thereof. (ACTION ITEM)

VI. New Business

      A. Adoption of a preliminary 2018 Tax Levy. Copies of the levy will be available in the Milledgeville and Chadwick School office for public review. (ACTION ITEM)

      B. Board Retreat- Set Date, Time, Location, and Objectives.

           Typically, we shoot for late January or early February on a Wednesday evening. Does Wednesday, February 6, 2019 work?

      C. Approve Life Safety Treasurer’s Surety Bond for $1.6 million. (ACTION ITEM)

      D. Approve Honors English I as a weighted class for Freshmen. (ACTION ITEM)

      E. Approve application for the ISBE Property Tax Relief Grant. (ACTION ITEM)

VII. Closed Session to Consider Information Regarding the Appointment, Employment, Compensation, Discipline, Performance, or Dismissal of a Specific Employee or Legal Counsel for the Public Body and to Consider Student Discipline. (ACTION ITEM)
