City of Galena issued the following announcement on Jan. 23.
Garbage collection will be delayed by one day for all routes this week.
Due to the snow, garbage pickup scheduled for Wednesday, January 23, has been cancelled. All collection this week will now be one day later than usual. Tuesday routes that were not collected on January 22 will be collected on Thursday, January 24. We apologize for the inconvenience.
