Report: Chadwick-Milledgeville spent $10,913 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Chadwick-Milledgeville Community Unit School District 399 is up 10.1 percent from five years ago, according to a NW Illinois News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Carroll County school district spent $9,912 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $10,913 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 525 to 470.

Chadwick-Milledgeville's spending in 2017-18 was 18.2 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
