Report: Warren spent $11,710 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Warren Community Unit School District 205 is up 8.7 percent from five years ago, according to a NW Illinois News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Jo Daviess County school district spent $10,777 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $11,710 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 443 to 407.

Warren's spending in 2017-18 was 12.2 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
