Report: Eswood spent $13,366 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Eswood Community Consolidated School District 269 is up 9.4 percent from five years ago, according to a NW Illinois News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Ogle County school district spent $12,212 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $13,366 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 93 to 78.

Eswood's spending in 2017-18 was 0.2 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
