Byron home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Byron rose by $20,500 while total sales increased by 18.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 13 homes sold, with a median sale price of $148,500 - a 16% increase over the $128,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in Byron in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Byron for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,260.30, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
