Sterling home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Sterling rose by $6,100 while total sales decreased by 13.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 57 homes sold, with a median sale price of $72,000 - a 9.3% increase over the $65,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 66 homes sold in Sterling in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Sterling for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,149.50, approximately 3% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
