Fenton home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Fenton rose by $13,500 while total sales increased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $145,500 - a 10.2% increase over the $132,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were five homes sold in Fenton in 2016.

The median sales tax in Fenton for 2017 was $2,301. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,172. This marks an increase of 5.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.6%.
