Como home prices fall in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Como fell by $11,000 while total sales increased by 12.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $65,000 - a 14.5% decrease over the $76,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Como in 2016.

The median sales tax in Como for 2017 was $1,933. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,056. This marks an decrease of 6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3%.
