Albany home prices fall in April 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2018 in Albany fell by $11,250 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2018, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $78,750 - a 12.5% decrease over the $90,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Albany in April 2017.

The median sales tax in Albany for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,302, approximately 2.9% of the median home sale price for April 2018.
