Erie home prices rise in August 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2018 in Erie rose by $63,000 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2018, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $165,500 - a 61.5% increase over the $102,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Erie in August 2017.

The median sales tax in Erie for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,050, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for August 2018.
