Illinois General Assembly: HR74 actions on April 2

The following actions were taken on April 2 in the House on House bill HR74 ("breast cancer program funding"): "Added Co-Sponsor Rep. Tony McCombie", "Added Co-Sponsor Rep. Norine K. Hammond" and "Resolution Adopted".

The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. Monica Bristow (D-111) on Jan. 31, "states that Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program eligibility and funding should be broadened to further reduce barriers to breast screening, detection and treatment for underserved women to improve conditions for women to achieve optimal health, regardless of their race, ethnicity, or economic status," according to the General Assembly website.

The following house representatives also co-sponsored the bill: Carol Ammons (D-103), Norine K. Hammond (R-93), Joyce Mason (D-61), Rita Mayfield (D-60), Tony McCombie (R-71), Michelle Mussman (D-56), Lawrence Walsh, Jr. (D-86) and Linda Chapa LaVia (D-83).
