Q4 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Carroll County?

There were two offenders released on parole during that live in Carroll County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by NW Illinois News.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in Carroll County were women. The younger parolee was a 23-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2018. The other was a 27-year-old woman sentenced for a property crime in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Tiffany R. Knautz. She was convicted of a property crime in 2017 when she was 26 years old. She is now 27.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the fourth quarter in each Carroll County municipality.
