Q4 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Ogle County?

There were nine offenders released on parole during the fourth quarter that live in Ogle County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by NW Illinois News.

The data shows that seven men and two women were released in Ogle County. The median age of the parolees was 34. The youngest parolee was a 24-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2017, and the oldest was a 44-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2016.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Deandre Haywood. He was convicted of a crime involving one or more weapons in 2016 when he was 25 years old. He is now 28.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the fourth quarter in each Ogle County municipality.
