2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 61252?

There were six offenders released on parole during 2018 that live near Illinois zip code 61252, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by NW Illinois News.

The data shows that five men and one woman were released in the Fulton zip code. The median age of the parolees was 39. The youngest parolee was a 26-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2016, and the oldest was a 48-year-old man convicted of a financial crime or fraud in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Daniel Abbott. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2014, when he was 40 years old. He is now 45.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
