ILLINOIS STATE HOUSE DISTRICT 74: Swanson Re-Appointed to Veterans Advisory Council/ Reminds Veterans and Seniors about Upcoming Resources Fairs

Illinois State House District 74 issued the following announcement on July 19

State Representative Dan Swanson announced he has received word that he has been reappointed to the Veterans Advisory Council by House Republican Leader Jim Durkin in the leadup to his annual Veterans & Seniors Resources Fairs throughout the 74th District.

“Leader Durkin was very gracious to nominate me to continue to represent our caucus on the Veteran’s Advisory Council,” said Swanson. “Standing strong for our Veterans is critically important to me.”

Rep. Swanson hosts annual Veterans & Seniors Resources Fairs to continue his service to area Veterans.

With these events around the corner, Rep. Swanson reminds Veterans, Seniors and interested community members to come out for more information on federal, state, and local services available in our area.

Tues, July 23 10:00am-1:30pm Mercer County VFW, 106 SW Third Ave, Aledo, Co-Hosted by: Genesis Medical Center & Brookstone of Aledo

Wed, July 24 3:00pm-7:00pm Bureau County Metro Center, 837 Park Ave West, Princeton, Co-Hosted by: Perry Memorial Hospital

Thurs, July 25 10:00am-1:30pm Knights of Columbus Hall, 1556 E Fremont St, Galesburg

Fri, July 26 10:00am-1:30pm Geneseo Moose Lodge, 1025 S State St, Geneseo

Admission to all four events is FREE and a meal will be provided. In addition to staff and booths representing local agencies and state agency staff, Rep. Dan Swanson’s Constituent Service staff will be available for consultation during the events.
