City of Morrison City Council met Aug. 19.

The Morrison City Council met in Special Session on August 19, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Lower Level Conference Room at City Hall, 200 West Main Street, Morrison, IL. Mayor Everett Pannier called the meeting to order. City Clerk Melanie Schroeder was excused. City Administrator Barry Dykhuizen recorded the minutes.
Aldermen present on roll call were: Kevin Bruckner, Jr., Arlyn Deets, Dale Eizenga, Ken Mahaffey, Harvey Zuidema, Mick Welding and Vern Tervelt. Alderman Josh West was absent.
The public commented on the vactor truck.
Alderman Welding moved to approve a new vactor truck engine, seconded by Alderman Bruckner. On a roll call vote of 7 ayes (Bruckner, Deets, Eizenga, Mahaffey, Zuidema, Welding, Tervelt) and 0 nays, the motion carried.
Being no further business, Alderman Mahaffey moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Alderman Deets. On a voice vote, the motion carried.
Meeting adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
