Paw Paw home prices rise in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in Paw Paw rose by $18,500 while total sales increased by 120%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $116,500 - a 18.9% increase over the $98,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Paw Paw in the second quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Paw Paw for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,820, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2018.
