Dixon home prices fall in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Dixon fell by $3,300 while total sales increased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were 42 homes sold, with a median sale price of $71,000 - a 4.4% decrease over the $74,300 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 36 homes sold in Dixon in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Dixon for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,987, approximately 2.8% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
