Paw Paw home prices rise in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Paw Paw rose by $22,250 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $138,000 - a 19.2% increase over the $115,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in Paw Paw in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Paw Paw for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,820, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
