Carroll County Board of Health met June 27.
Here is the minutes as provided by the board:
Board of Health Members present: Dr. Reese, Jane Law, Bart Ottens, Jan Schmidecamp and Jenny Bergman

Absent: Dr. Tonne Mike Yuswak and Dr. Woods
Others present: Craig Beintema (Administrator) and Dawn Holland.
Reese called the meeting to order at 5:30PM
The agenda was reviewed. After review Ottens motioned to approve the agenda as presented. Bergman second, passed unanimously.
Minutes from the April 25, 2019 meeting were presented. After review Schmidecamp motioned to approve the minutes as presented. Bergman second, passed unanimously.
Financial reports for April and May 2019 were presented. After review, Ottens motioned to approve the reports as presented. Law second, passed unanimously.
Law stated that the Finance Committee met prior to the meeting and approved the bills.
Reese asked Beintema to look into options for providing dental services within our county.
The activity report (enclosed) was reviewed.
Beintema mentioned that some of priorities the State of Illinois has announced are: Mental Health access, HIV Zero, Pregnancy Birth Deaths & Infant Deaths and Gun Violence Control.
