MEETING CALLED TO ORDER BY: KAREN KLECKNER, PRESIDENT

ROLL CALL TAKEN BY: DIANE LAWSON, RECORDING SECRETARY

MEMBERS PRESENT: COLETTE BINGER, KAREN KLECKNER ERIC STIEGLER, TOM LISZKA, HEIDEE MEIER, JESSE MILKS AND ERIC STIEGLER

NOT PRESENT: CARIE PANOSKE

ORDER OF BUSINESS

1. CALL TO ORDER

At 5:40 p.m. the meeting was called to order by Karen Kleckner, president, with the following members present Colette Binger, Tom Liszka, HeiDee Meier, Jesse Milks & Eric Stiegler

2. INTRODUCTIONS

Randy Bay, Jeff Milburn & Craig Mathers

3. FACILITY PROJECT FUNDING OPTIONS

Craig Mathers gave a historic review of Dakota’s fund balances & explanation of Restricted funds And Unrestricted funds. He also explained the use of Working Cash Bonds, Building Bonds, Health Life Safety Bonds and Alternative Revenue Bonds in regards to financing options for the projected facility project.

4. MOTION TO CONVENE INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION

At 6:20 p.m. a motion was made by HeiDee Meier, seconded by Colette Binger to convene into executive session to discuss the employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees of the district. Motion carried by a roll call vote of 6 yeas, 0 nays.

5. MOTION TO RECONVENE IN OPEN SESSION

At 6:47 p.m. a motion was made by HeiDee Meier, seconded by Tom Liszka to reconvene in open session. Motion carried by a roll call vote of 6 yeas, 0 nays.

6. BOARD ACTION FROM CLOSED SESSION

A motion was made by Colette Binger, seconded by Eric Stiegler to approve the following actions:

• Approve Josh Alber as Assistant Wrestling Coach

• Approve the Memorandum of Understanding allowing Head Coach Pete Alber to split his differential ($2,752) with assistant coach Josh Alber.

• Approve the Memorandum of Understanding for extra-curricular for a Fall Marching Color Guard instructor at $300 a year ($400 on Disney years) and a Percussion instructor stipend at $100 per year.

• Approve the Memorandum of Understanding for extra-curricular compensation for the bowling coach. First year bowling coach stipend @ $3,096.

• Approve Evan Thompson as a Student IT helper @ $8.25 an hour.

Motion carried by a roll call vote of 6 yeas, 0 nays.

7. MOTION TO ADJOURN

At 6:55 p.m. a motion was made by Colette Binger, seconded by HeiDee Meier to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried by a unanimous voice vote.
