Palmyra home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Palmyra rose by $44,000 while total sales increased by 71.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $210,000 - a 26.5% increase over the $166,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Palmyra in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Palmyra for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,804, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2019.
