Tampico home prices fall in the first quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2020 in Tampico fell by $2,000 while total sales remained unchanged with two homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2020, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $25,000 - a 7.4% decrease over the $27,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Tampico in the first quarter of 2019, as well.

The median sales tax in Tampico for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,763, approximately 7.1% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2020.
