City of Galena issued the following announcement on April 30.
Galena residences and businesses may experience low water pressure or no water service this morning and possibly this afternoon as a result of a water main break on Dewey Avenue. Water service in a large area may be affected as crews attempt to isolate and repair the break. Updates will be posted here. Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this unexpected issue as quickly as possible.
