Ogle County Executive Committee met April 14.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

1. Call Meeting to Order: Chairman Finfrock called the meeting to order at 2:49 p.m.

Present via audio: Griffin, Janes, Kenney, Nordman, Reising and Sparrow. Others via audio: Youman, Smith, Treasurer Linda Beck and IT Manager Larry Callant.

2. Approval of Minutes – March 10, 2020: Motion by Sparrow to approve the minutes as presented, 2nd by Janes. Motion carried.

3. Public Comment: None

4. Reports of Committees

 Personnel & Salary: None

 Road and Bridge: Multiple Items

 Judiciary & Circuit Clerk: None

 County IT: None

 Supervisor of Assessment, Planning & Zoning: None

 HEW, Solid Waste & Veterans: None

 County Facilities: None

 County Security – Sheriff & Coroner: None

 State’s Attorney, Court Services – Focus House: None

 Long Range & Strategic Planning: Resolution, bills and change orders

 Finance & Insurance: Multiple Items

 Agriculture: None

 Workplace Safety: None

 Board Presentation Requests: Abby Duke/Census 2020

5. Old Business

 Update on Tower Status: None

 Other: Smith brought up the OCCCA Board. Motion by Sparrow to dissolve the board, 2nd by Janes. Motion carried.

6. New Business

 Host Agreement for Orchard Hills Landfill: They are still in negotiations.

 Ogle County Disaster Proclamation: Motion by Kenney to renew for another 60 days, 2nd by Griffin. Motion carried.

7. Comments/Suggestions from Committee Members/Department Heads: Griffin asked about the City of Oregon Intergovernmental Agreement regarding Iron Mike. Motion by Reising to recommend that Finfrock and Griffin work on that agreement, 2nd by Kenney.

Motion carried.

8. Adjournment: With no further business, Chairman Finfrock adjourned. Time: 3:07 p.m.
