Savanna home prices fall in the first quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2020 in Savanna fell by $8,950 while total sales decreased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2020, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $35,500 - a 20.1% decrease over the $44,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Savanna in the first quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Savanna for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,077, approximately 3% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2020.
