Analysis: Stillman Valley pays $4.35 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Stillman FPD Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 81.3 percent of the $45,008 the Stillman FPD Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.35 for every $1 from pension members, according to a NW Illinois News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Stillman Valley contributed $36,609 to the fund, which saw a $7,128 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $8,400, or 18.7 percent, in 2018.
