Analysis: Rock Falls pays $4.09 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Rock Falls Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 78.9 percent of the $617,516 the Rock Falls Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.09 for every $1 from pension members, according to a NW Illinois News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Rock Falls contributed $487,114 to the fund, which saw a $154,637 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $118,830, or 19.2 percent, in 2018. Another $11,572 came from other unspecified sources.
