Analysis: Dixon pays $10.80 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Dixon Community FPD Firefighter Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 91.5 percent of the $447,951 the Dixon Community FPD Firefighter Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $10.80 for every $1 from pension members, according to a NW Illinois News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Dixon contributed $410,000 to the fund, which saw a $33,809 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $37,951, or 8.5 percent, in 2018.
