2 Lee County residents in their thirties test positive for COVID-19 on July 30

Two Lee County residents in their thirties tested positive for COVID-19 on July 30, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

In total, there have been 22 positive cases reported in Lee County among residents in their thirties, accounting for 16.2 percent of all cases in the county. Through July 30, Lee County has reported a total of 136 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, two of which have ended with the victim's death.

Illinois gathers all of their COVID-19 data from across the state electronically. The reported cases and deaths will fluctuate as additional info is gathered. Chicago was home to one of the first known cases of COVID-19 in the US, as well as it's transmission.
