Morrison Fire District responded to 64 calls in 2018 - 7.2 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Morrison included 48 fires - 17 structure fires, seven vehicle fires and 24 other fires.

In all, the department saw $262,000 in fire loss - or about $5,458 per fire.

The department also received 16 false calls.

The calls resulted in one civilian non-fire death.

The Morrison Fire District had an annual budget of $91,207 in 2018.
