Q1 2020 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Jo Daviess County?

There were three offenders released on parole during the first quarter of 2020 that live in Jo Daviess County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by NW Illinois News.

The data shows that two men and one woman were released in Jo Daviess County. The median age of the parolees was 37. The youngest parolee was a 27-year-old woman sentenced for a property crime in 2019, and the oldest was a 55-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2019.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Kayse N. Lamping-Freeman. She was convicted of a property crime in 2019 when she was 26 years old. She is now 27.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
