Q1 2020 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Stephenson County?

There were 21 offenders released on parole during the first quarter of 2020 that live in Stephenson County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by NW Illinois News.

The data shows that 17 men and four women were released in Stephenson County. The median age of the parolees was 38. The youngest parolee was a 22-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2019, and the oldest was a 56-year-old woman sentenced for a financial crime or fraud in 2019.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Sandy K. Noble. She was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2016 when she was 45 years old. She is now 50.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the first quarter of 2020 in each Stephenson County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
