Rochelle home prices fall in May 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2019 in Rochelle fell by $1,000 while total sales decreased by 57.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2019, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $97,000 - a 1% decrease over the $98,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 19 homes sold in Rochelle in May 2018.

The median sales tax in Rochelle for 2019 was $2,739. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,663. This marks an increase of 2.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.8%.
