Oregon home prices rise in May 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2019 in Oregon rose by $71,250 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2019, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $154,250 - a 85.8% increase over the $83,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Oregon in May 2018.

The median sales tax in Oregon for 2019 was $2,332. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,209. This marks an increase of 5.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.5%.
