Mount Morris home prices rise in February 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2019 in Mount Morris rose by $22,500 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2019, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $69,500 - a 47.9% increase over the $47,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Mount Morris in February 2018.

The median sales tax in Mount Morris for 2019 was $1,868. In 2018, the median sales tax was $1,687. This marks an increase of 10.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.7%.
