Oregon home prices fall in November 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2018 in Oregon fell by $20,400 while total sales decreased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2018, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $57,500 - a 26.2% decrease over the $77,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Oregon in November 2017.

The median sales tax in Oregon for 2018 was $2,209. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,210. This marks an decrease of 0.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.8%.
