Mount Morris home prices fall in June 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2018 in Mount Morris fell by $5,141 while total sales decreased by 37.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2018, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $63,500 - a 7.5% decrease over the $68,641 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Mount Morris in June 2017.

The median sales tax in Mount Morris for 2018 was $1,687. In 2017, the median sales tax was $1,713. This marks an decrease of 1.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.7%.
