Oregon home prices fall in December 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2017 in Oregon fell by $25,250 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2017, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $67,750 - a 27.2% decrease over the $93,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Oregon in December 2016.

The median sales tax in Oregon for 2017 was $2,210. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,070. This marks an increase of 6.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.3%.
