Oregon home prices fall in June 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2017 in Oregon fell by $2,500 while total sales decreased by 28.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2017, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $104,500 - a 2.3% decrease over the $107,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Oregon in June 2016.

The median sales tax in Oregon for 2017 was $2,210. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,070. This marks an increase of 6.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
