Polo home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in Polo rose by $12,250 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $58,500 - a 26.5% increase over the $46,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 16 homes sold in Polo in the fourth quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Polo for 2017 was $1,818. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,746. This marks an increase of 4.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.1%.
