Lost Nation home prices rise in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Lost Nation rose by $23,250 while total sales increased by 300%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $167,000 - a 16.2% increase over the $143,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Lost Nation in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Lost Nation for 2017 was $3,067. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,040. This marks an increase of 0.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
