Byron Forest Preserve District issued the following announcement on Feb. 5.
Due to the extreme cold weather that is supposed to set in this weekend, both Cross Country Skiing at Barrick Oaks Homestead Preserve and our Winter Hike at Barrick Oaks Homestead Preserve is canceled. Stay tuned for more programs and events by following us on Facebook and Instagram
