The first half of 2021: Home prices in Nelson increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Nelson rose by $31,895 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $106,895 - a 42.5% increase over the $75,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Nelson in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Nelson for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,041, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
