What happened to the median home price in Mount Carroll during the first half of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Mount Carroll fell by $19,500 while total sales increased by 21.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $70,000 - a 21.8% decrease over the $89,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Mount Carroll in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Mount Carroll for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,514, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
