On Oct. 27, James G. and Joann E. Jacovides purchased a home at 17 W. Old Mill St., Milledgeville from John K. and Mary A. Helms for $75,000.

The amount paid for property taxes on this property in 2020 was $688.60, 0.92% of the sale price of the home.

So far in October 2021, this is the only property that sold in Milledgeville as of this publication.

According to the Illinois State Board of Elections, John K. Helms (78) has been registered to vote since 1988 and has voted in at least four primary elections, records show, including three Republican Primaries.

There were no other registered voters living at the residence as of Oct. 10, 2020.
