Report: Lena Winslow School District spent $9,944 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Lena Winslow Community Unit School District 202 was up 9.7 percent from five years ago, according to the NW Illinois News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Stephenson County school district spent $9,068 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,944 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 829 to 864 students over the same period.

Lena Winslow's spending in 2019-20 was 31.4 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
