Report: Rock Falls School District spent $13,901 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Rock Falls Township High School District 301 was down 2.5 percent from five years ago, according to the NW Illinois News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Whiteside County school district spent $14,262 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $13,901 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 652 to 639 students over the same period.

Rock Falls's spending in 2019-20 was 4.1 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
