Report: River Ridge School District spent $16,373 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at River Ridge Community Unit School District 210 was up 17.6 percent from five years ago, according to the NW Illinois News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Jo Daviess County school district spent $13,928 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $16,373 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 536 to 492 students over the same period.

River Ridge's spending in 2019-20 was 13 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
